Every day some thousands of children, women and men from Venezuela are fleeing to nearby countries to seek safety from violence, insecurity, lack of food and medicine, and increasing poverty. Many of these people are vulnerable and in need of urgent protection. More than 4.6 million Venezuelans have left their homes so far, and the majority are hosted in the region. This is the biggest population movement in Latin America’s recent history and one of the largest external displacements in the world. UNHCR is on the ground responding to their needs as the numbers continue to increase unabated.

About UNHCR

We need your help.

We are working to ensure the most vulnerable are protected with shelter, health care and documents which will allow them to access services, so they are not living in precarious situations, exposed and at risk. But we can’t do this alone.

Please help by donating today.

You can help us provide food, medicine, shelter and water.
